STAMPING - MANUFACTURING TECHNOLOGY FOR STAMPED AND FORMED METAL PARTS

High precision stamping of sheet metal strips and wires

Stamping is a basic manufacturing process in stamping and forming technology. In this shearing process, one or more semi-finished products, such as metal strips or metal wires, are processed with a cutting tool in the press area of a stamping and forming machine.

In addition to flat strips also wires made of the following materials can be processed.

- high-performance copper, non-ferrous metals,
- aluminum, precious metals,
- light metals, heavy metals,
- carbon steels, high-strength chrome-nickel steels,
- bimetals

(with specific requirements for strength, corrosion resistance, weight and other properties)
