Optimum forming processes with radial and linear forming tools
In this forming process, one or more semi-finished products, such as metal strips or metal wires, are processed in the stamping and forming machine with a radial or linear bending tool. All of the movements of the bending tool (stroke, movement duration and resulting speed) can be individually adjusted or cams or NC units, which will determine the machine speed. The parameters for the forming processes can therefore be individually adapted for all processing stations.
The advantages:
- process-reliable forming of the workpiece with defined moving punches
- optimally adapted motion sequences
- material-friendly bending process
- high precision of the parts
- high repeatability
- very long tool life
