Significantly more material-efficient and sustainable production
Target: Reduction of CO2 emissions
Bihler Technology offers efficient solutions for resource-saving, sustainable production. Depending on the component length and geometry, the GRM-NC servo stamping and forming machine with radial or linear LEANTOOL forming tools is used for the mass production of copper busbars. The radial concept results in material savings of up to 50 percent due to the strip width being equal to the part width. And since material waste equals CO2 emission, this concept can also save 50 percent CO2.
In the production of motor housings for electric motors, the revolutionary Bihler manufacturing process on a BIMERIC impresses with significant material savings compared to the deep-drawing process and the flexible reproduction of complete part families. The innovative solution reduces the weight of the components and significantly cuts the CO2 emissions by 1000 tons per year. And there is no need for drawing oil at all.

Bihler Technology: much more than stamping and forming
The BIMERIC servo production and assembly system provides you with maximum standardization and flexibility in your component and assembly production. Material feed, and stamping and forming processes, are performed using standardized modules. And, if your production requires other processes such as welding, thread forming and screw joining, or if you need customized assembly processes, the BIMERIC has plenty of free space.
The BIMERIC is also fully compatible with uniformly designed linear tools. The machine is configured at the outset with uniform basic equipment that provides the interfaces for linear tool concepts and the associated standard parts. And if, at a later date, you need to expand your production processes, the scalable BIMERIC machine can be retrofitted very cost-effectively. The BIMERIC provides better planning capability and flexible order scheduling, shorter delivery times, and greater reliability in production.

In the field of resistance welding, Bihler is opening up new dimensions of feasibility with high-quality hardware and software. This quantum leap is made possible in particular by the B 20K high-performance welding controller in combination with flexible welding tools. The welding control unit guarantees perfect welding results from the microswitch to the power circuit breaker and opens up new possibilities for conventional parameter settings.
The Bihler welding experts are also transferring the proven welding systems into the digital world. Equipped with real-time troubleshooting, transparent setting methodology and 3D analysis, the intelligent B 20K offers state-of-the-art features for all resistance welding processes. This means that users are ideally equipped for all tasks with Bihler's pioneering welding equipment and our wealth of experience.
